National Socialism 
Introduction
The Wave is a German movie that shows controversial period during the pre-modern world. It reveals consequences of human cohesion in the common society, which keeps the same structure and qualities despite the change of epochs. In the light of dominant features of the protagonists in The Wave, its producer, Christian Becker, probably tried to explain the importance of developing a common objective or mission a particular community usually belongs to. Most of the characters in the movie are high school students, who are forced to form groups of the brilliant versus the poor in the class (Hentschel 1986). In order to develop the understandability of his teaching methods, Rainer Wenger, the class teacher, decides to form a class project in order to develop what he claims to be the learning technique that will improve the students' social skills, cohesion and commitment into each other. Looking into the deeper reasons why the teacher decided to create this grouping, his main aim was to act like a conduit to define different systems can co-exist in a group of people like, in this case, between students. However, from a producer's point view, its major purpose was to show how could one develop National Socialism and manage to drive the whole nation to war.
The setting of the movie has the basic extent of the national socialist period in Germany and its different political views, which were brought around by the various consequences that led to the Second World War (Niskanen 2004). After further familiarization with the plot of this movie, every viewer will understand the diverse political system that exists not only between fictional characters, but between the people in the real world. The two groups are different in the perspective of creating a well-known distinction, which occurred in the period of Germany's division into FRG and GDR, or West and East. Becker tried to create a symbolism between the two nations; one embodied the existence of space, like the brilliant students, who represented capitalists, and others belonged to the poor who resembled the industrialists in the German setting.
Plot of the Movie
The producer, Christian Becker, has made literary productions. In his past productions, he tries to create different perspectives defining the importance behind the main burning issues in the cross-setting of dissimilar elements and circumstances within social systems. Being a lucrative ideology for human political system and views, The Wave, which has German setting and political notions, creates an argumentative approach towards the rules that have been established. This concept of gaining exposure and realism to view the development of different existent systems amid contrastive beliefs and missions is the most approachable way to develop the literary elements in the movie The Wave. As much as the main idea of the movie has been characterized by German actors, it turns into the sole foundation for developing different versions of a country's social structure, exemplified by the poor and brilliant students in the school.
A gap occurs as the film continues with the storyline of National Socialism since viewers try to understand the outcomes of radical actions taken by many students in the school under the influence of their teacher. Many students are technically left out of groups or rejected by friends, but Tim is an opposite example. He used to be an outsider but he founds friends and becomes committed during the project. Later, we can observe the development of personal relationships between the groups; some of the students are trying not to be involved in the project since the experiment is dangerous. The same opinion was proclaimed by Wenger's wife who decides to leave her husband at the end of the argument. Despite all warnings, the experiment goes on. The group develops own uniform that could be a distinction between the school uniform and their own in case if something happens. Therefore, the group becomes closer but gap still exists between Karo and the rest of the group until an incident happens during the game, which makes the members of the team fight with others.
A climax in The Wave can be considered a moment when Tim reveals a gun claiming at first it only fires blanks. It is used as a symbolic end to something dangerous that was about to evince its dominance. The gun embodies a transition like war that existed to cause the killing and defeat of Adolf Hitler. As a final point, Tim shoots his team mate and then takes his own life. At the end of the movie, Herr Wenger is arrested while Karo and Marco embrace.
Thesis Development
It is important to develop and define the idea of co-existence between human beings, as well as reasonable evaluation of living in the same perspective. Christian Becker wanted to explain how the establishment of new political system during existence of another one will lead to warlike disruption or creation of something that is ugly with the aim to destroy a normal way of life. Judging by German National Socialism experience, the creation of two different nations or political systems could lead to a disruption of peace as a crucial complication that has been caused due to the introduction of different issue. This directly applies to the creation of the experiment that has developed its own brand of uniform that is different from that of the school, and a name The Wave is employed to signify the start of something revolutionary. However, the importance of this experiment made the members of the class focus on their name, group members and, hence, commitment to their own group missions.
Therefore, there is good and evil in the existence of different political systems, like dictatorship, anarchy, autocracy, or monarchy. The movie is the foundation that has pointed out to see whether there can be an existence of both political satires in the modern world. Is the existence of both systems possible in the formation of modern evaluation in the essence of gaining power? Is it better to be closer to one another in this concept, Tim, who ends up killing himself and a colleague in cold blood?
Understanding the importance of grouping assists in the case of developing dictatorship among the students and their family members, who tell the teacher to change something or stop the experiment. One of the most favorable way outs would be trying to make the groups create something good, like working together, forming friendship ties but not to avail. Wenger's tactics becomes unreasonable as it induces his wife to leave him and creates more gaps among his class students. For that reason, the students develop inverse relationship in which the bully becomes a willing friend stopping bullying against other fellow students. People affected by the regime begin not to work together in order to support dominant aspects of obsessional experimentation.
Dictatorship is the basis for developing bias between groups of people who do want something entirely different from what a leader is proposing. In this perspective, the role played by the students of Rainer decreases the specified principle raising awareness when one is supposed to act according to rules or what is supposed to be necessary at a certain point of time. However, those who are told to do whatever the teacher wants are the disappointing case that diminishes the power of cohesion in relations with other students. The act of replacing a weaker student with a stronger one exposes the theme of autocracy. He in turn explains that weakening of another person or having an overpowering edge over your partner or friend is the paramount obsession of gaining knowledge and power in the essence of dominance, respect, and creation of a leading figurative approach into friendships and relations. His obsessive resilience for power made Mr. Wenger create a disparity between his student and his wife.
Dictatorship, Anarchy, and Autocracy
The ideological control of the class and its students by the teacher developed the optimum conservative opinion about gaining autocracy and power through establishment of the weakened toil for students. In the movie, many aspects of immorality and defects of human character are unraveled owing to the experiment projected by teacher Wenger. Many students almost end up hating each other due to the commitment and the way of discipline that is developed through the concept provided by their educator. Many of them do not like the position of Karo since she is quite sensitive to the idea of creating a group and the choice of naming the group that is opted for. She involves reasoning behind the creation and commencement of the experiment, but other students who are followers of Herr Wenger, maintain resistance to the options that she has proposed. The lack of confidence makes her almost break up with her boyfriend. This shows the instance that domination of the stronger over the weaker can lead to following the leading figure's rules. Therefore, dictatorship is more into the gaining or creating the reasoning for others to adhere to your rules and governance or they are obliged to do so without further knowledge.
Dictatorship has been the principle that has separated not only many nations, it also happened to West and East Germany that were united because of a common goal to fight in the World War. Anyway, they achieved nothing since many people lost their lives and others were left with injuries, which created disparities amongst other nations. Fascism in Italy is the same example that created the role of dictatorial leadership in the collective subjection to National Socialism. Apart from the concept of driving violence into the outside world, dictatorship changes mainstream concepts that were raised in the need or urge for developing the power of different views that could have helped in the expansion of personal democratic views in the perspective of internal cohesion.
Anarchy and autocracy can be evaluated in the light of gaining the power over the lower development of groups or people in a society. The society established in the film The Wave has shown the acquisition of power and, as a result, autocracy over other students. Autocracy was developed by the leading figures supporting the idea that other people are like small beings who are led by the authoritative nature of man. In the concept of development of a different political association in the issues surrounding Wenger's character, it is necessarily to provide an altered type of experiment to view its fulfillment. It is also vital to study the self-centered nature of human beings, especially while trying to understand why there are different aspects in the approach concerning leadership. Anarchy was developed in the excessive use of power to acclaim all the forces in the world controlled by the German Nazis during the world wars. Many have tried to understand the reason behind personal achievement for the sake of the increase of leadership ambitions in order to succeed rather than win with motivation.
Both dictatorial and autocratic leadership scenarios have been developed in order to provide leadership with attributes of knowledge and tactics of using force from the outside scenarios. Raising of power fractions in a system is the ultimate technique that can be used for the sake of controlling the most necessary resources, especially people in a nation, which was oppressed by Hitler. Therefore, they are the same as in the context applied to the film, where students become influenced by the leader, who reminds Hitler. Nevertheless, there is a resemblance only in controlling the affairs related to the creation of new system. There is an obvious difference in the ultimate purpose since Hitler used power to have direct control over nation but Wenger applied just simple techniques, which appeared to be extreme for students to manage their affairs.
Conclusion
The principles of dictatorship, anarchy, monarchy and autocracy, fall under the same concept of National Socialism. Attempts to express how socialism can exist in the modern world led to the difference in creation of groups in the movie, The Wave (Heiden 1978). Defining dictatorship in the modern society, the concept of National Socialism cannot survive since almost every individual in the contemporary world is well educated and has different opinions on reasoning. In the film, Wenger should have tried to incorporate every student according to his own will expressing democratic advantages over the issues in their different lives. The self-shooting of Tim and his colleague shows there is no other way in the modern society than to forbid acceptance of National Socialism. The instigator of these events ended up being arrested for his treason as he resolved to create dictatorship in the high school involving political systems, which have been outdated but still exist.
