The Wave is a German movie that shows controversial period during the pre-modern world. It reveals consequences of human cohesion in the common society, which keeps the same structure and qualities despite the change of epochs. A climax in The Wave can be considered a moment when Tim reveals a gun claiming at first it only fires blanks. It is used as a symbolic end to something dangerous that was about to evince its dominance. The gun embodies a transition like war that existed to cause the killing and defeat of Adolf Hitler. As a final point, Tim shoots his team mate and then takes his own life. At the end of the movie, Herr Wenger is arrested while Karo and Marco embrace.
